From Paper to Game...
Note that a simple sketch on a piece of paper, again can be the source for the production of new applications or video games people can enjoy. Not just that, even movies. However, our focus here are on games at the moment. Games may vary from simple 2D games to games that may involve complex programming, progressing games, RPG, simple matching games and more types according to one's satisfaction.
Note that games are projects that we attempt to finish and publish for everybody to enjoy. Even if they may fail, new ideas lead to a progression towards improvements in-game and better gameplay. Though simple or complex, either are enough to satisfy gamers out there, whatever their choices for games are.
In making a game, there are definitely things to consider about the game. I myself, may not be experienced in creating and developing games like people out there, sitting in their offices with knowledge to create and edit but here are my opinions about several things that might be important.

1. First, we start by considering the type of game we're planning to make or want our target market to play. Eventually, this may relate with our targeted customers. Are they teenagers that are into shooting RPG games like Counter Strike: GO? Simple mobile games like Brawl Stars? Or even travelling games full of adventure like Pokémon Go?
2. Other than that, it should also be considered that the games require a device to play. Eventually, what type of devices are these games playable on? These may vary from phones to laptops to play stations and more as technology continues to go modern and sophisticated.
3. Once we figured that out, we should think about the theme. You may think that a theme and type of a game are similar words to say it. But this is how I differentiate it. Picture a shooting RPG game that we target for teenagers or mid-age kids to play. Say, depending on our targeted customers, that game can either be a shooting game involving fantasies like shooting out candy and more, or it can either go to a more mature style with real bullets and more war-themed characters. This will also apply to its music, environment and more.
4. Also remember, games also have their own stories and goals. This relates with any present quests, tasks, progression and more.
5. Program is also something that needs to be considered by the game makers, since the program refers to the feature that builds up the game mechanics and the desired actions for the present characters in-game. In terms of programming, there will definitely be several bugs or errors in it which corrupts the game. As a result, bug fixes are essential for better gaming experience. Animation is another important point in relation to programming in terms of appearances.
6. Lastly, the last thing I thought about is the balancing. Just like in movies, you don't want one overpowered item or character or gear to rule the game like an emperor as this will cause other features of the game to be useless and players won't yet, be satisfied. Eventually, among the features in the game, balancing is essential. Balance changes can be held in case of unbalance features that needs to be fixed throughout the game in the throughout its release.
